Gabby Gabby is a vintage pull-string doll who serves as an antagonist, and eventually a friend, in Toy Story 4. She resides in the antique store, Second Chance Antiques, and is surrounded by an entourage of ventriloquist dummies who act as her enforcers.

Gabby Gabby's primary desire is to be loved and cherished by a child. However, a manufacturing defect – a broken voice box – has prevented her from finding a home. This defect fuels her bitterness and motivates her to acquire Woody's functioning voice box, believing it will make her desirable.

Throughout the film, Gabby Gabby is depicted as manipulative and willing to resort to underhanded tactics to achieve her goal. She keeps other toys in the antique store captive, using the threat of her dummy enforcers to maintain control.

Ultimately, Gabby Gabby undergoes a transformation. She realizes that a functioning voice box won't guarantee love and happiness. The film ends with her finding a child who accepts her as she is, demonstrating that belonging and affection are based on genuine connection, not perfection.
